We booked this hotel due to the good reviews submitted by others. And to be honest, when we turned up and finally found the hotel, we didn't have high hopes! The room was nice enough, and extremely clean. The locally designed furniture wasn't quite to our taste, and the massage bed was so-so. The shower was great and the bathroom was very clean. But the best part about this hotel was, without doubt, its hosts, Milena and Lello. We challenge you to find nicer hosts than this fantastic couple! They are genuinely nice people (and a little shy, I think), who really want their guests to have a great time. They helped us much more than could be reasonbly expected from anyone. We were there during the Easter break, where all buses to and from Bomerano were cancelled. Without help from this lovely couple, we would have had a very frustrating couple of days. It's not very often I meet people in the travel business who genuinely seem to care. By the way, Il Principe is a great location to start the "Walk of the Gods".
The only negative comment would be that our room was close to the road and you could hear the traffic, also in the evening (mainly due to the easter celebrations).

This hotel is in a great location near Amalfi coast – but away from the crowds. It’s close to a lovely square and conveniently located right next to the train station. the rooms are spacious, clean and come with high-tech showers – a highlight for some guests. the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is included and served fresh in-room.
The hotel rooms facing the road can be noisy due to traffic, but this diminishes significantly at night.

This hotel is a great starting point for the Walk of the Gods which is a 4 hour (round trip) hike on the cliffs above the Amalfi Coast (start hike around 10am and you can have lunch in Positano). The hike starts just meters from the hotel. The hotel was the perfect relaxing place to come back to after a full day of hiking. The shower is amazing!!!! It has colors, sounds, music, jets etc. You name it the shower has it :) After your shower, relaxing on your Fantastic Massage bed. We felt so pampered!!!!! We lovd our room so much we didn't want to leave for dinner so we went to the market around the corner and bought meat, cheese, and wine and brought it back to our room so we could enjoy the relaxing some more. Breakfast was great brought to your room:) We will be staying here again!!!!
The only problem was that when breakfast is brought to the room there is was only one chair in our room. My husband and I had to take turns sitting and eating. Another chair would have been nice. Also there is a large balcony with a great view but nowhere to sit out there. It would be nice to have a few chairs on the balcony to sit and relax or eat Breakfast. Minor I know :)

The breakfast was good and the location was perfect for my business trip. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and well-equipped for my needs. I appreciated how close it was to the conference center and the airport. The transport service was also reliable and efficient.
The noise from the street was quite disturbing at night and made it hard to sleep. the room was a bit cramped and the furniture was worn and uncomfortable.

Lovely staff, very clean room. Breakfast was good and particularly nice as we could eat it on the balcony. We had no problem parking during our stay and there are plenty of walks near by if that's your thing.
Can be a bit noisy but if you're using this hotel as a place to sleep whilst site seeing then you probably won't be disappointed.

the hotel is in a perfect spot for hikers wanting to do the Path of the Gods and a fabulous view from the hotel. the staff showed real care in their work and provided unexpected services, like a packed lunch for our walk and a free ride to Pompei.
The village can be somewhat quiet at night, and public transportation can be challenging for travelers with no car. Overall we recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing and slow-paced vacation surrounded by mountains and the real Italian lifestyle.

We cannot fault our stay at ii Principe Resort. It was the perfect location up in the mountains with an easy bus ride down to Almalfi where you can catch the ferry to Positano or Capri. Our room was equipped with a massage bed and a jacuzzi style shower with pulsating jets of water to massage your weary legs after a busy day walking up and down stairs. Our hosts were so helpful with guidance as to where to eat etc. Their aim is to ensure you have the best stay. Will definitely return when next in the area.

The hotel is located in a convenient spot close to transportation and classic Amalfi Coast hikes. The room was modern and clean with fantastic facilities such as a massage bed and hydro massage shower. Breakfast was delicious and served in-room each morning. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing hiking maps and recommendations for local restaurants.
Nothing all excellent.
